Logo and visual identity design
Logos and visual-identity foundations — the mark, its variants and preparation for screen and print. I design brands that look consistent everywhere: on the website, a business card, in social media and on a sign.
A good logo isn't a pretty picture — it's a mark you can recognise, shrink to a favicon and print on a business card without losing quality. I design logos and identities from the ground up — from a conversation about the brand, through several concepts, to a full set of files and a simple brand guide that keeps the brand consistent no matter who uses it.
The logo and its variants
I start by understanding the brand: what it does, who it speaks to and what sets it apart from the competition. From there I prepare concepts for the mark, and refine the chosen one into variants: a primary version, one simplified for small sizes, horizontal and vertical, in colour and in black and white. That way the logo looks right both as a 16 px favicon and as a mark on a billboard — with no manual rescuing in each situation.
Identity and a brand guide
The logo alone is just the start. A consistent brand needs a colour palette, chosen typefaces and rules for using them. I prepare a visual identity together with a simple brand guide — a document that says which colours and fonts to use, how much clear space to leave around the logo, and what not to do. That keeps materials made later — by you, a printer or someone else — in one recognisable style.
Rebranding and refreshing a brand
If you already have a logo but it looks dated, scales badly on screen or no longer fits what your company has become — I can help refresh it. A rebrand doesn't have to mean starting from zero: sometimes it's enough to tidy the colours, improve the mark's legibility and prepare the missing variants and files. I always say plainly whether it's worth redesigning the brand or smarter to keep what your customers already recognise.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a logo design cost?
- A logo alone starts from 500 PLN (the mark and several concepts), and a full visual identity — logo together with colours and typography — from 1,500 PLN. The final price depends on the scope and the number of variants needed.
- How many logo concepts will I get to choose from?
- I usually present several different directions, and together we pick one. I then refine the chosen concept over a few rounds of revisions until the mark is exactly right.
- What's included in a visual identity?
- The logo in variants, a colour palette, chosen typefaces and a simple brand guide with usage rules. On request I add business-card and basic-material designs, so the brand has a consistent look from day one.
- What files will I receive the logo in?
- I deliver the logo in vector files (SVG, PDF) and web formats (PNG), in colour and black-and-white. Vectors let the mark scale without losing quality — from a favicon to large print.
- I have an old logo — can it be refreshed instead of redesigned?
- Often, yes. If the mark has potential, I tidy the colours, improve legibility and prepare the missing variants and files. I'll advise honestly whether a rebrand or a refresh of what customers already know is the better call.
